Oranges: A Good Source of Fiber!

Lately I’ve been going to the grocery store and picking up some delicious Cara Cara Oranges more than usual. When I walk through the fruit aisle, the first thing that attracts my eyes are those round oranges waiting to be picked-up and put into my cart. It is not only the sweet taste I get from oranges that makes me buy more, it is the benefits that keeps me going back for more. Oranges are a good source of fiber which, we all need! As we know, fiber is associated with many beneficial health effects, including improved digestive health, weight loss, and cholesterol. Not only are oranges a good source of fiber, they are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C, thiamine, folate, and potassium. Whether you’re putting your oranges in a juicing machine like myself and drinking it or eating them whole, oranges are both tasty and nutritious for our body!
