Eating like Daniel During Lent Season!
Lent is finally here! This year for Lent, I am going to incorporate the Daniel Fast! There have been many times I’ve done the Daniel Fast, however, never have I done it during Lent season. Learning to eat like Daniel is all about eating healthy foods that are internally good for your body and not food that will hinder the inside of your body. In the bible, Daniel and his friends chose not to eat the king’s food or any pleasant foods that would gratify the flesh, but choosing to eat foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, legumes, etc. that would build a healthy mind, body and spirit. Learning to eat like Daniel makes you more aware of what it is you are eating and putting in your body.
